While the Kannada Film Producers Association headed by Munirathna Naidu and gang is getting amendments to the Bylaws it prepared recently, a section of ill fated producers screaming at the top of voice for no takers of their films by the channel houses.

The media meet called on Friday evening at The Bell Hotel, 60 affected producers are addressing who are affected with a major problem of ‘No Television Rights’ acquisition.

According to sources BR Keshava and gang are left with 200 Kannada films. They are knocking at the doors of various television channels. No takers for their films because TV houses are not able to get back the revenue via advertisements.

In such a situation the affected 200 Kannada film producers approached the KFCC in the past. They have not got any fruitful results.

Their own body of KFPA was also approached but the problem is with the marketing of films for the channel houses.

Meanwhile a new system has begun in the satellite channels. To have a special screening for acquiring rights of Kannada films – on Thursday afternoon ‘Gowri Puthra’ was screened for Suvarana satellite channel at Renukamba Digital theatre.
